yeah, unfortunately the main plot of the show got kind of cringe and stupid. it started to feel to me like the writers were actually invested in the senate and empire remnants stuff, but disney was breathing down their necks about boba fett and characters who look like boba fett because toy sales, and it resulted in a disjointed mess where half the show was political suspense and the other half was an 80s fantasy movie
