The players who were involved understand that they fucked up and have apologized. Not a single one of their dedicated players would survive in any other game, either. They're like an uncontacted tribe, they only know their own ways.

not in the game, but someone took IC conflict personally and they made a plurk about it saying how they felt targeted/attacked. Basically their character started some negative CR and they thought the response was directed at them more so than their character and apparently things snowballed after that.

a number of tlv players are in other games, which is easy to tell by looking at their plurk bios.

i'm gonna be honest with you, i don't check the ages of people i talk to in random social media posts, and i don't know a single person who does that outside weird artists in twitter who don't understand they can't stop minors from looking at smutty fanart. checking boyo's profile doesn't give me their age either (or real age anyway, it says 84), so i hope you aren't expecting people to look through other people's posts to figure out their age like some detective.

but even if it was clear that they're a minor... i'm tired of this "oh don't be mean they're minors!!!" narrative that has been happening in certain spaces, mostly twitter (shocker /s). if you come to a public space and say something, then you better learn to expect people replying to you. i could understand leaving alone ACTUAL children (as in 5-6 yo) who still don't know very well what they're saying, but teenagers? teenagers must be responsible for opening their mouths.

i don't know who i fight with on social media. i don't check their profiles and i don't assume based on typing style because i know adults that type like teens, including dwrpers.

but if someone comes to a discussion post to say "ao3 shouldn't allowed incest" (to name a random example of an argument i've had) then they're getting a proper response. being a teenager doesn't mean they can bother people and then complain when they get the same in return. not to mention jchaosand, nivisecond and YonFellow were always polite.
