he's my favourite in mha so i'll just dump my grievances here. i agree with others that it depends on bakugo's relationship with the character. he's nuanced, and his actions do not exist in a vacuum. "i want to be on your heels for the rest of our lives" while crying is anything but subtle, and there's nothing "tsundere" about it. it's direct, emotional, and as "romcom" as a shonen confession gets. that doesn't mean he'll blurt out similar shit 2 months into cross-canon cr, or with anyone other than deku for that matter. their history and everything they've been through is what brings out that level of vulnerability in him. context matters.

what it does demonstrate is that bakugo is much more dynamic than the flat belligerent tsundere boyslag you often see in rp. he never quite stops being "bakugoish," but his internal growth is significant, and he shows it in the right moments, for the right people. i can't fathom why some players cling to outdated, disproven headcanons about his personality. he's probably just too much character for some dwrpers in the animesphere to handle, especially if their main focus is getting laid with random extra #9999.

what i find weird about the slut bakugos is how many make him hate deku while craving dick

oh i always judge bakugos by how they treat deku past a certain canon point. if they still misunderstand his most important relationship in the year of our lord 2024, i know there’s no hope for improvement

I would argue against the part that it has to be deku specifically, but you're going to be hard-pressed into making it realistic with someone who hasn't proven their worth to him. I remembered how huge bakugou/kirishima got when they had the rescue scene because they hyped up how much it had to be kirishima who does it, and eventually he starts being more open to others and willing to hang out just for the heck of it despite how he complains. one could argue his frenemiship with todoroki could also work out into a ship if one worked on it enough.

that said, realistically no one could convince me he would madly fall in love with anyone after a few months in a game, or want to ride their dick. there are so many other characters that could be more ic for that.
