no there are plenty of people on my timeline who constantly say things like "x muse doesn't want me playing with y muse today, lol he gets so jealous" or "I was going to pick up x muse, but z muse refuses to share a headspace him ever again"


You personally may only use it as a metaphor, but you can't assume that everyone else is the same. Having experienced people using a word differently than you do doesn't make one "dumb"
