a castmate feels ignored so I offered plot things as well as another person did. they are still feeling ignored and keep trying to get sympathy on plurk over it.
Replies that don't carry the conversation when it's only a few comments in. I don't mind them when a thread has gotten really long as a way of ending it. Would it really hurt you to give me something to actually reply to? If your character isn't the social type, at least give me some actions or emotes on the side so I can try to tailor a reply within the bounds of being IC. Something, anything, but tags that are just "okay" or "yeah" or "thanks" get us nowhere brosis.
People who never take the hooks you give them, so doing anything with them is incredibly fucking boring because they actively resist letting it get interesting.

... so have you actually reminded them that it's their tag or are you just bitching without putting in any effort on your end? believe it or not, sometimes people forget to tag back or they lose the notif or whatever.

i've had this happen to me several times, anon, and it does fucking suck. especially when it comes totally out of left field because the player seemed to be having fun and was gushing about the game/their cr right before it happened.
What notice are they supposed to give you and to what purpose? Knowing they're going to drop won't change who the character would react. Knowing about it before hand won't change the fact the person is dropping. As long as they put up a post in the occ com, it shouldn't matter.
Hell, I would settle for them letting me know after the fact rather than me finding out weeks later when I happen to look at the drop post. Awkward... my character should probably have noticed.
I know it's dumb, but I hate seeing the same person always getting the highest comment numbers in their posts. I mean, I get lucky if I get ten or twenty comments in a post. And they rack up a hundred in two hours.
Maybe you should try comparing your posts to theirs and see if you can see what they're doing right in comparison to you? In my experience, if a player is consistently getting a lot of tags, they're often either making posts that have good hooks for people to tag or they're doing a really good job of tagging around.
People in panfandom games who post things marked open to all and then only tag canon-mates -- and sometimes only specific players. Why join the game at all?
Having a canonmate who's really GOOD and who has awesome CR with my character...when they're bothering to be active. The majority of the time they're barely active and only just slipping by AC. Sucks, man.

Been in this game for literally years and I'm just... don't know what to fucking do anymore or where to take my characters anymore. A lot of it is being in it so long and my character's good CR has all but vanished by now. Other CR has been so built up for so long it'd either be a pain to lose/retcon or it's been so built up there's no where else interesting to take it now.
I think I just want to kill my characters off but every time I try I get a surprise obscure cast mate or a potentially developmentally important plot crops up or something else demands my (temporary) attention.
