I read Belial's app and I can't figure out what the mods were thinking by rejecting it. Kat doesn't have the best grammar but everything she listed in her plurk as things the mods thought were left out were in the app. Do we have an app mod who doesn't like Kat or Angel Sanctuary for some reason?

Not as far as I know. However, That Suzaku is on the app team, and has no to very little reading comprehension judging based on her RP. I wouldn't expect her grasp of apps to be any better and I strongly suspect this was her doing.

why is this game so fucking AWFUL at quality control? is there no one competent willing to step up to the plate and help mod or what? or would we just shit all over them too

and why is kouga/rys/spandy/that suzaku STILL FUCKING HERE when they've all either broken rules, been wildly ooc, or some combination of both

Because the mods have put a bunch of morons in charge of the apps and they're not doing anything about it. They don't want to do the work themselves, so they take whoever volunteers. The game also has a couple of totally incompetent list mods. Nothing ever gets done on time. And god help you if you want them to get to your status AC the same month you post it.

Or do you think that the mods can just magically pull competent help out of their own asses to solve the problem?

If you haven't already volunteered maybe you should get off that chapped ass of yours and do something about it yourself.

I have no stake in this, but. If they app mods are terrible, people are allowed to complain even if they don't want to take their place. The thing you're doing is white-knighting of the "shut down all discussion" kind.

Calling anyone who challenges them a whiteknight is also an attempt to shut down discussion.

This is wankgate. This community doesn't exist to be a circlejerk where complainers can pat each other on the back over how right they are. If they can't handle disagreement or caustic responses this is not the best place to vent.

The complainers can do something about their problem so they just have to deal with hearing the solution. Nobody can force either side to shut up so they can ignore it or argue back if they want to keep complaining.

I fucking volunteered like 3 times and they didn't pick me once, and I know I wouldn't have made half of the awful decisions they have.
