I have no stake in this, but. If they app mods are terrible, people are allowed to complain even if they don't want to take their place. The thing you're doing is white-knighting of the "shut down all discussion" kind.
Calling anyone who challenges them a whiteknight is also an attempt to shut down discussion.
This is wankgate. This community doesn't exist to be a circlejerk where complainers can pat each other on the back over how right they are. If they can't handle disagreement or caustic responses this is not the best place to vent.
The complainers can do something about their problem so they just have to deal with hearing the solution. Nobody can force either side to shut up so they can ignore it or argue back if they want to keep complaining.
