I think that if you're going to expect people to guard their language - and this is perfectly reasonable as far as I'm concerned - it's not an unfair expectation for other people to expect you to guard yours as well.

Of course venting in private is different from public speech, etc etc

Venting is fine but I do not see why it's so hard to use words like 'some' instead of ALL MEN ARE PIGS etc.

Then again, I've seen people with 'misandrist' listed in their about me sections....

lol i guarantee you the majority of people labeling themselves as misandrists are not actually serious and are most likely making fun of whiny mras.

It still makes me uncomfortable. Which is probably silly but I just kind of hate people throwing around those kind of labels, whether it's ironic or not.

Personally, what makes me uncomfortable is that casual sexism against women is totally OK, but the moment you JOKE about teensy stuff affecting men it's suddenly a horrible bad bad issue HOW DARE UUU.

SJW nonsense doesn't get dumber than this.

I don't get why it needs to be one or the other? That's a kind of childish mentality to have, honestly. But most SJWs tend to be like that anyway.
