We tell you to post shit in specific locations for a reason. Usually because it makes shit easier for us to keep track of.

Only a minus because I've seen mods ask things to be posted in a specific location and then never bother to check those locations. Therefore the player is punished because the mod can't be bothered to go see that the player followed their rules.

That doesn't mean you should go to another game and fail to follow their rules just because of a bad experience with mods somewhere else.

If they're not checking that specific location, they're even less likely to check any other location. Which makes them a shitty mod, rather than invalidating the fact that most mods ask for things to be put somewhere specific because it makes it tidier for our records.

Or you could post it there, wait and see if they check it and if they don't send them a polite "hey i posted this thing here can you look at it" message.
