she's not THAT bad, she's just really young. so, emphasis on the dumbfuck. also far too invested in homestuck and kanaya, even for a rper, but that might also be a symptom of youth.

you know it keeps being brought up that she's young but i really don't give a shit

people have told her the way she behaves isnt acceptable before and its clear she doesn't want to improve her attitude, which yeah you're right that's a total teenage way to go about things, but if she isn't going to try then she has noone to blame but herself for being disliked, and if it isn't getting through to her than she brings it all on herself, it's really simple

i'm saying this as one of the people who tried helping her before and haven't seen her behavior get any better in time so maybe i'm biased or bitter over the whole thing and most people might not agree with me here, but if anything, she's slowly getting worse, so i'm backing out before she becomes one of those jackass excuses for an adult with a horrible attitude, which is pretty prevalent among rp'ers i know, but still pisses me off anyway

I'm just going to second everything you've said here. Maybe I'm also biased and bitter, because I've tried to point out to her the error of her ways also, but I definitely can't say she's gotten better. Probably worse, but I mostly ignore her now. She has a real superiority complex and I think she really doesn't see that anything she does is wrong. She's always more 'professional' or 'mature' or whatever it is she's describing herself as these days.

Also she is better than you because she goes to some fancy high school with all the AP courses. All of them. At least, this is the impression I've gotten from her.

When I was 17, I did one dumb thing, which I apologized for and retconned in the end, and got torn to shreds for the next six months. She continues to do do stupid shit and be completely unapologetic. I can't feel bad anymore.

I know this feeling. I actually was wanked on in the past, but changed my ways when a friend showed me what was going on and was willing to help me stop being wank-worthy. So when I first saw her going down the dark path of wank-worthiness, I tried to talk to her.

She just. doesn't. listen.

So I'm done. No more feeling bad here either.

I can't speak for anyone else, but it's just the fact her sexuality comes up so much it's as if she actually has a very shallow grasp of the character, like "lesbians and vampires and fashion" is literally all there is to her Kanaya, any characterization outside of that is purely CRAU developed nonsense added onto it.

I mean compare it to the comic, Kanaya never mentions only being solely interested in girls concupiscently to anyone(as far as I remember, anyway!) and the confirmation we have of it is Hussie answering a question on his formspring regarding it, and then seeing her only interests in said quadrants are solely female, it becomes more obvious knowing that. It's like how before GamTer you could have argued Gamzee was only interested in guys, but we know that's not true

what I'm trying to say is her grasp of Kanaya's character seems very shallow and poor because she has reduced her to a really flanderized version of the actual character from the comic, then thrown in her personal views(such as ic'ly disliking rose just because the mun dislikes rosemary, on the basis of "disliking humanity" despite having no issues with almost any of the humans she has met so far except rose) on top of that to make something that barely resembles the character people actually want to rp with

that makes a lot more sense to me and it doesnt sound homophobic. i was wondering why it kept being brought up as the only issue but the way you describe it makes it sound indicative of a larger issue so thanks for explaining
