This is a really weak argument, though. Unless your computer is literally a potato I don't see how loading pages is a problem.

i actually do have a really shitty computer, so having to open a lot of pages is kind of annoying.

so don't load a lot of pages

how many do you even need to look at when you're viewing someone's journal

i also have a shitty computer. i like having navposts where i can pick what i want to open, instead of expanding all the cuts on the page and WHOOPS finding a fucking image and gif loaded bullshit visualosities entry

pretty sure most people format/design stuff with recent technological updates in mind
