that would make a hell of a lot more sense than posting promise dates for applications and then just sitting around with their thumbs up their asses with the lame excuse that the "application mod" is tied up on a trip (or so I hear). was it a last minute trip? did they not know in advance when they posted the date for applications to open that the application mod would be busy?
it's been THREE DAYS. other mods, step the fuck up. if it's one mod's fault, maybe they either need more help with applications or they don't need to be a mod at all.
having an app process in general is such a waste for the game when they basically accept everyone and only rarely give revision requests. the mods should just put in an automatic acceptance policy based on putting in an app and if they see any issue they step in. it saves them a lot of time c/ping an acceptance note and makes things go smoother.
Pavlov reflex, you hone right in on the most irrelevant piece of information because it's bolded. Meanwhile something simple like app processing is placed on hold and other mods can do nothing about it and you ignore the statement.
honed in on it because it was the biggest indication of whining. they are apparently forming an app team, but you just said the app mod has rl obligations to take care of and that's why it's been delayed. if it was so irrelevant then you wouldn't have mentioned it in both comments or bolded it.
