I didn't even put my character in, because it just seems cheap somehow. I mean, I guess if your character NEVER TALKS ABOUT THEMSELVES, but how many characters really have DEEP DARK TRAGIC SECRETS that anyone could do anything with.
It'd be one thing if anyone got a decent plot out of one of those revealed profiles, but mostly it's gonna be used for coddling and hurt/comfort and maybe some CR arguments.
Ah see I was thinking of the drama it'd cause, but the scrambling to make sure stuff is covered with folks before it somehow gets spilled is a lot more entertaining. I mean there's some stuff I can see it'd be fun to reveal? But yeah, I didn't submit one either.
But yeah you're right, with the ones that are up, it's probably going to be that. Sorta sucks really, this could be some fun drama for some folks.
For the most part, I'm not seeing a lot of people caring? I mean, some of it is cool, because OH THAT PERSON IS X, LIKE ME and that can open up new CR potential, but for the most part, even my character wouldn't care about some of the stuff opened up in those files.
Hilariously, my character actually DOES have something in their file that could trigger a plot and cause drama, but I don't want that kind of drama at the moment. :\ Plus it wouldn't matter, because I'm new and my character doesn't know many people yet.
