Honestly, I've dropped a game over that before. But it was a game I was having second thoughts about anyhow, so that was just me getting even more second thoughts and the straw that broke the camel's back by that point.
And by the way, I do disagree with the anon who said the acceptance notice is the mods welcoming you. Most games have a very formal copy and paste acceptance notice that is completely and utterly impersonal in the effort to sound professional and get in all the info needed. It's nice to see at least one of the mods make a more personal touch and it only takes a couple of minutes and makes a huge difference between a new player feeling the game is welcoming and them starting to have second thoughts and increasing the chances that they won't even last past their IC intro.
if you were having second thoughts about a game before you even made an ooc intro, let's be frank, you shouldn't have applied in the first place
also i don't know why you're telling me about your disagreement with that other anon, i didn't say anything about mods anywhere. sure, it's nice if they reply, but i mean, come on. realistically, they're probably not going to have time
