I don't sideeye canons except for when people don't play from anything besides ones aimed specifically kids. Rule of the thumb, if they only play from that they're probably a little off ooc wise.
Except canons that aren't really canons that are played as anything more than a joke or gag like nostalgia critic, the old spice guy, ronald mc donald, etc.
Playing from canons meant for little kids isn't inherently bad, and you don't have to enjoy overly sexual/violent/adult canons, but if you seriously can't sustain interest in anything more "adult" than saturday morning cartoons you're probably a little odd (ex: that Crocker mun).
