Someone decided it was a great idea to play the Confederate States of America. It was, in fact, not a great idea. I don't know any further details; hopefully someone else can fill you in further.
Re: itt: the most offensive thing you've ever seen played/said in rp
I'm not sure if they're still around, but one particular mun plays several versions of the Confederate States of America. They were terrible purely from an IC standpoint (nothing about the character said "America") but they were extremely tasteless and didn't have a concept of boundaries. Then there were several AUs including a hooker/stripper/idk what version.
Prostitute CSA. Let that sink in for a minute.
I avoided them like the plague so I can't give any deets on how they played or if there was anything else particularly offensive.

I didn't realy follow the CSA's but did catch some glimpses of their wankiest period... and holy fuck, it was horrible. The self-insertion, passive-aggressiveness and melodramatic bitchiness was enough to make me not want ANY CR with them.
It was specially terrible when the player tried to project their (admittedly pretty serious) real life issues on CSA and forced their England partner into a plot where England cheated on their CSA, then had a total meltdown when it didn't go the way they wanted to and they took to making whiny, passive-aggressive posts to D_M about how horrible the England mun was and shit like that.
There was wank, and how. An America who was one of CSA's enablers made a bitchy post to the DR's ooc comm to whiteknight them, and there was more wank. At that rate I was so fucking repulsed that I totally dropped that ball and scrolled past any post even mentioning CSA... and damn, I was relieved.
That's what I can recall, nonnie. Yep, it was all kinds of EW.

Hoooooly shit I'm almost sad I missed that trainwreck. Sucks about the IRL issues but the wank sounds juicy. I'm only on the fringes of Hetalia fandom and after getting second-hand embarrassment from a few of their posts on d_m, I ignored them as much as I could.
