and that's understandable when you are dictating who you are allowing into the plot. but if you allow someone who plays a powerful character in, or maybe not even powerful but has an ability that can really effect the plot, you should be reaching out to them to ask questions and work things out if you're willing to have them be involved. if they won't budge on their character's powers, then fuck them, they don't need to be in the plot as far as i'm concerned because it would ruin it for everyone. but at least have the common courtesy to talk it out with them instead of just dictating to them that they are powerless. work out between the two of them who wins the struggle, whether it be the villain or the good guy coming out on top.
But...isn't that a lot of what's going on in that plotting post? After looking through it, I haven't seen Masa telling anyone "No you can't do this because I said so." I've only seen him questioning Ganon doing things in his own favor because there's no canon basis for it or because it's not IC.
