i hardly ever find people who want to write m/m scenes where the characters get each other off just from oral or handjobs or frot instead of having that be foreplay for the inevitable buttsex

Start asking your RP partners! I always end up writing a bunch of anal sex, too, and I do enjoy writing it, but I really really love oral and frot and I never get to play them out! But I know that is, in part, my own fault, because I anal sex is so overwhelmingly common in m/m RP as THE ONLY SMUT THAT MATTERS that I just automatically default to it when playing and don't bother asking if my partner would like to do something else.
