have been getting more heavily involved in attack on titan fandom on tumblr, it's all good and fun, there's some cosplay/rp stuff involved, no big deal

exchange skypes with a few people who i've been interacting with more

see one of them calls themself "alphie"

this rings a bell

two days later and they've tmi'd about shipping and kinks at me and come to me super drunk and crying about how they just realized that they're ftm, not genderfluid

like a day after i mention being ftm

i finally decide to check wankgate b/c they're setting off warning bells now

it's that alphie

i've talked to them about fanfic and shared my stupid ocs that i'm too embarrassed to talk about to anybody else and comforted them during a crisis and i might be in too far

guys please help i need an exit strategy i'm freaking out over here

hhhhh i've already jumped tumblrs once due to reasons unrelated to wank

and tbh i'm not so keen on doing this when i've just started to network with people who i actually want to keep in contact with in fandom

that's the best plan. no way to guarantee he won't follow you. if people ask, tell them he skeeved you the fuck out.

Just bail as fast as you can, the quicker you do it and the less overcomplicated/drawn out it is, the lower the chances of wank.

And if there is wank, the quicker the break the shorter the overall wank is likely to be if it happens at all.

i'm not going near my skype for a while so i can't check but their tumblr is definitely 'polarisopposites'

as someone who met alphie irl and can't fully escape without the fear of them tracking me down, I feel your pain.

try slowly distancing yourself, citing irl reasons (you're busy, vague "lots going on", etc). if you use Skype frequently change it. tbh slowly disengaging from them should work as long as you don't go to conventions. if you DO surround yourself with other people and minimize contact.

unfortunately i do go to conventions and apparently a lot of the same ones...? we apparently first met at otakon, albeit briefly since they seem to remember better than i do.

i know we're both going to katsucon and we're both going to be cosplaying from aot. i guess the solution is to just build a posse of friends to keep a proper distance...? i mean, they already know what i look like so i've sort of lost that opportunity for distancing, even if i do entirely new cosplays.

as someone that once dated alphie before realizing how fucking insane she is i give you my biggest condolences

however escaping from the alphie takes a lot of work, i literally stopped talking to her for several months straight because she constantly blamed me for every problem she had and emotionally manipulated me and tried to pressure me into sex and i was utterly done with it and her, yet she started talking to me again a few months later and still thought we were dating, she even tried to kiss me and kept being affectionate on me the next con i saw her after we'd already broken up, my friend had to disengage her off of me

iiiii dont really know if i can give you any really good tips bc shes fucking insane (and has been known to attack people, i was really really afraid of that happening to me myself) but i wish you good luck, the only thing i could really think of to say is that she gets the hint semi easily because she thinks the whole world is out to get her, so if you start acting kind of distant and off handed with her she'll be like OMG THEY HATE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, also yeah keep a group of friends around with you at cons in case she approaches and just kind of be very curt if she talks to you and i think you might have a chance?? idk ive been living a happily alphie free life for a year or two now
