No, I just feel that giving other people an opportunity is kind of what the two week wait is for, and the fact that there was a minor wankstorm about this person reserving at three games like a week or two ago makes me sideeye it that much more. Honestly, I'm not even in the same fandom, so I wouldn't have noticed if not for that last detail.

In my experience, that two weeks is actually for the person to tweak their app.

looks like they got rejected over at ruby city and then re-reserved, and someone beat them to apping at exit void, too.

thank fuck they got beaten at the app challenge at EV because I'm sure the cast there doesn't want somebody who's apping into four games at once.

Some deets for you wanky motherfuckers: the player asked the mods if it was okay before doing it. So if you're going to be buttdevastated over it, be mad at the mods for allowing it.

used to mod a game with a similar policy, and tbh, giving other people a chance was only one reason why we did that, and it was a very minor one at that. the main reason was to force the rejected player to take a long, hard look at their canon and our app standards, and to put more effort into their app instead of just spamming us with the same shit over and over again.

the two weeks is for them (and us) more then other players.

If the two-week wait was meant for other players, it would require them to wait two weeks before they could reserve AND app. But since it's just that they can't tweak their app and send it right back, my guess is they're in the right to put in the reserve to cover that two weeks in which they need to seriously redo their app. It would suck for them if they did take the time to redo their app only for someone else to swoop in on day 13 and put in an app instead. Though, again, within the other player's right if the declined player hadn't reserved in the interim.
