Some of us are only comfortable smutting with people we know well. Being open for general CR and getting to know people OOC and then possibly smutting with them later should be just fine.

if you're uncomfortable smutting with people you don't know well, then why join a game filled with strangers? It's ok if you want some buildup beforehand, but don't close yourself off to 1-3 people.

if you aren't comfortable with smutting with people outside of your clique don't join a sex game. you can always musebox the game's premise if you're interested in playing out how your character is affected by it but only want to thread smut with one or two other people.

It's not being closed off to those people so much as taking a couple months to get to know new people and slowly expanding your circle. I just think there would need to be some leeway on a rule like this for people who ARE interested in eventually tagging new people too but might take 2-3 months to do so.

but there is leeway built into it by the use of "reasonably open to plotting and threading." it's reasonable for someone brand new to the game to take a couple of months to get themselves situated and build up cr. it becomes an issue if you're in the game for 6+ months but still only playing with the same couple of people.

i've modded games before (although not a sex game.) honestly in situations like this it is really easy to tell who is half-assing it and squatting and who isn't. a big tipoff is when someone's not just only smutting with a tiny number of people but also only threading gen stuff with the same people and not even trying to expand their cr circle at all or mixing up who they're threading with from month to month. they're TECHNICALLY passing AC but for all intents and purposes they're using the game as a musebox.

Alright, I see where you're coming from now. That sounds pretty reasonable, rules anon.
