I thought about doing that, but you can't make anon comments to locked entries. That means I would have to make them logged in, which would mean I would get an email every time somebody responded to the initial posts and that would clutter up my inbox more so than it already is.
What, you don't turn those settings off? clearly you don't have it on for the post in general... Or just make a secondary journal just for making the initial posts, and make sure its settings are so that alerts don't get sent to your email. But yeah, if you go to Account Settings -> Notifications, there's a specific option of "Someone replies to any comment or community post I make*". Just turn it off and then you won't have to worry about your inbox getting flooded.
Pretty much, there are options, You're just not taking them. Personally I don't care either way because I'm never here when a post goes up anyway, but you can figure out a way to avoid annoying anons fucking up with the main threads if you try.
