Clockwork is only like two volumes and only one translated, sadly, but its version of Okita is hilarious and I love him. It takes place after the Bakumatsu ends and we're into the Meiji era, and focuses on Katsu Kaishuu's son working against threats to the Japanese government, and like half the Shinsengumi is conveniently not dead and gets involved and Okita didn't die of TB, he moved to Texas for a while and learned to be a gunslinger.
