If I was reading last post right, this is the second time they've used a venomous spider plot. There were also other people involved that they had to inform 'no, sorry, the mods have decided this wasn't a good idea and you can't use this', so clearly, the mods have a reason behind it.
Honestly? Bitching here about it isn't going to do anything. If you're really all that concerned about players getting shut down, why not go and leave it on the suggestions/concerns page? Ask why and maybe you'll get an answer, though tbh, it's none of your fucking business. It's not mine, either. The mods saw what they considered to be a problem and they shut it down. End of story. Plenty of player plots get put through without problems, like people leaving the city and going out to explore. The difference is, those people usually contact the mods first about what they can and can't do/get away with. Kouga took something that technically shouldn't be allowed in the city since the city itself has barriers to protect it from things like the storms and random magically affected crap. Having poisonous spiders indicates that the barriers aren't doing their job, or that they were let out intentionally, in which case you have to ask by who and what for.
Sure, Ariel doesn't have a huge overarching plot like most games, but it does have some rules and a basic plot and some times people shit on those because they don't pay attention to the world settings.
