Then just give the mods a heads up that this happened and now you're asking to add a power. If I didn't know the canon and suddenly saw "Oh btw my character can also heal people just by looking at them with their special eyes" I would be super suspicious. Remember that apps aren't just a convenient list of powers, they are the powers the mods are approving. Adding something you didn't get approval for after looks like you're trying to sneak something around a nerf rule.
