So... What's up with the mods that they only get to apps when the oldest unaccepted one is a week old?

Honestly, I think it's the way they do apps. First, I think they only all look at apps once a week, and second, it seems like they wait until they all can get together and talk the apps over. Only then do they start going through and doing the acceptances / revision requests.

That's also why if you get your revision in right away, you've got a much greater chance of getting accepted right away, since of course that's when they're all there and concentrating on the apps.



It'd be nice if they'd be a bit faster or do it twice a week, what with the number of apps that pile up, but from my observations, that seems to be how they run things.

I wouldn't be so turned off if I didn't see them plurking all day about their tags.

I don't care about mods with other games and obligations, but applications should be more of a priority.

It doesn't bother me. That said, another game I'm in specifically says on the app page that they process apps on Sundays, so I guess I'm just used to apps only getting looked at once a week.

And if the page said that, I'd be okay with it. but it doesn't. And they only do a few apps at a time, if that. Sometimes just one or two. This time, they only got through a whopping six apps out of quite a few that are waiting. Meanwhile, they go on and on and on about their tags and omg guys I'm a terrible mun!!!!

Do they? That's certainly disappointing.

I only have one of them added on plurk so I don't see all of that.

I probably wouldn't be complaining if I didn't see them talking about tags they're doing half the time they're on plurk. If they cut that time in half and did some apps, at least one a day, or even just had a mod comm with locked entries where they could state their opinions on specific apps without having to all be present at the same time, I think things would get done a lot faster.
