when someone tags a post with the same exact comment as another person a few tags up

I don't need 4 characters asking "What are you doing?" or "What's that?" it gets annoying when my character has to explain something multiple times

jfc why can't people be a little more creative with their tags

Why?

1) because they can't think of anything else that would be IC to tag with, but would rather give you A tag than NO tag.

2) your character doesn't have to respond to them all the same way.

mine never does. of course, she's kind of an asshole, so i can get away with being snippy about already answering that question.

See assholes are fun for this

but also if it's like technical explanations which really do suck to rehash, I don't see why it should be a big deal to go "[He went over it as he had explained it to Dick [link to that comment] and waited to see if she had any questions.]" Might be just me though.

It's usually #1. If I'm slow to tag a post then chances are someone else will have beaten me to what the most IC response for my character would be.

Making posts that give characters more than one or two ways to respond helps too.

Agreed, especially when in most games if it's a network post, the character can see that was asked and get the answer.

Honestly, I almost prefer to get less tags to a post because it seems if you get a lot, they all say the same thing. And my character is going to ICly get annoyed that they didn't bother looking at the other responses to see his answer to that. One post where that happened, by the fourth time my character was so annoyed that he just gave a snippy response to the last person and cut the feed. Kinda felt for the player, but my character was just fed up.
