'i don't like your interpretation and while it's not wrong you've taken the most literal, heavy handed approach and it's boring as fuck. you're limiting yourself from a lot of CR opportunities because you're so afraid to use your imagination and step outside of what's ~explicitly show in canon~. just because, idk for example, the character is never shown drinking alcohol because it's from a "kid show" (like avatar) that doesn't mean, given their temperament, career, history and other implications, it's very reasonable they could easily share a social drink as a CR hook. instead you squander this opportunity and fall back on ~well it's never shown~ reasons.

This reminded me of something actually, even though it's not really exactly the same, but my character (A) was someone's (B) IC rebound for about 4 different relationships when I was 15. A and B would be together, someone else more dangerous or dominant (C) would come along and B would drop everything and run off and keep A around with 'oh but they can be in a threesome???' promises, even though B ignored and ditched A all the time, and C wouldn't even acknowledge they existed IC or OOC. Then C would get annoyed with B's theatrics, vanish, and B would come running back to A to cry in their arms and A still loved them right? Right?? Let's have comfort sex!!
Until another C came along and the cycle began again.
It could've been interesting to play if we'd taken a step back and acknowledged that this was a loveless rebound relationship but I was young and wanted my OTP and she wanted all his pairings to be true meaningful love because her precious baby would never use someone like that.

There's an enormous gap between useful protest and causing what could be a violent incident around a mass of children at holiday function in an area where there's no room to run. Massive.
