Even if you don't like them, even if you hate their writing, if they turn in an app that's all right (or, at least, has concerns that you've already looked past for a friend or a fresh face), you either suck it up and let them in or fall back on player concerns.
If they're actually bad, you might even have some. Wankgate handed them several on a silver platter and they still screwed it up.
