rpers want "professionalism" the same way bad customers want "customer service"

"you have to cater to ME immediately and i have to be happy about everything! you have to be SUPER NICE AND GENTLE at all times, and you can't make decisions without polling me! you have to bend the rules for me and make me feel like a princess, even if it goes against the entire point of the game! you can't ask me to be active or to be proactive BECAUSE I HAVE A LIIIIIFE AND I DESERVE NICE THINGS TOO!"

now throw 40 people in to a game that all have that mentality

what the fuck are you talking about

people judge based on appearances, qu'elle surprise, so a game that doesn't look pretty is going to give people second thoughts

you know, like how you probably won't get hired at a job if you look like trash

there's a big difference in looking like trash and just looking plain

rpers want amazing levels of graphics. our standards are honestly way too high and it bites us all in the ass, don't even deny it

did you mean

>rpers want "professionalism" the same way bad customers want "customer service"

because it actually is

the point is that rpers/customers don't want either thing in this case, they just want someone to pat their ass and give them exactly what they want, when they want it. they want doormats, not professionalism/service

every time a player or a customer wants "professionalism"/"customer service", they mean they want things to go exactly their way.

i want to find whoever invented "the customer is always right" and piss on their grave.

As an anon that works retail - I will bring the shovel so we can dig up the corpse and beat the shit out of it, then piss on it.
