rpers want "professionalism" the same way bad customers want "customer service"
"you have to cater to ME immediately and i have to be happy about everything! you have to be SUPER NICE AND GENTLE at all times, and you can't make decisions without polling me! you have to bend the rules for me and make me feel like a princess, even if it goes against the entire point of the game! you can't ask me to be active or to be proactive BECAUSE I HAVE A LIIIIIFE AND I DESERVE NICE THINGS TOO!"
now throw 40 people in to a game that all have that mentality
no you're definitely right but i don't know what the fuck ayrt was talking about, they went on some weird customer service rant that isn't even applicable
>rpers want "professionalism" the same way bad customers want "customer service"
because it actually is
the point is that rpers/customers don't want either thing in this case, they just want someone to pat their ass and give them exactly what they want, when they want it. they want doormats, not professionalism/service

(Anonymous) 2015-02-18 02:51 pm (UTC)(link)people judge based on appearances, qu'elle surprise, so a game that doesn't look pretty is going to give people second thoughts
you know, like how you probably won't get hired at a job if you look like trash
