yeah I figured so, which is why they didn't name the game.

The unbaptized babies/brats don't count due to the fact they really don't look like babies/children anymore.

let's use resident evil as an example. now ignoring and removing the M rating that the series gets because of it's gore, violence, and blood, the ESRB is not going to give it a M rating because it has child models as Zombies. It's not that bad and normally you just kill it and it disappears. The game would probably get a T rating because of that. In part because we recognize and can tell that the child is not human anymore.

However if there was a scene where a child gets attacked and torn apart, attacked and turned into a zombie, or gets shot by the protag in a panic, the game is going to get an M rating. Because it showed violence to a human child. And because a random mook will not stir up emotions the same as a random NPC that you could possibly save (like the shotgun guy in RE2)

and as the ESRB said to the INA The job of the ESRB is to label it appropiately, not to censor games. As much as they fuck up, they do tend to take certain matters seriously.
