I'm probably getting the wrong impression from the anon who linked the thing, but I thought that meant that she was getting offers to move out with people when she'd made the decision to leave, not before.
I have been a victim of domestic abuse, and I would have left if I'd had the money (thankfully, the asshole was kicked out of my life sooner). If the offers were made before she started asking for money to leave, then I could totally understand her saying no.
