I don't doubt that Debbie's death will reflect badly on the monsters despite the rescuing of natives, or that she'll become a martyred figure for the Bloody Bones. Wouldn't be surprised if this ends up with her being spun as a tragic figure who was just trying to help the people of Ryslig before being heartlessly ripped apart by beasts.
On a side-note I wonder how this plot would have gone down if more people thought the old lady at the harvest festival was fishy and didn't trade parts to her.
