i'm actually going to have to disagree on that. she's an asshole, cliquey, rude, opinionated, and entitled, plus she throws shitfits when she doesn't get her way, but none of that falls under the kind of behavior that should get someone run out of rping. it definitely earns her an avoidance reputation, as in i sure as fuck won't play with her, but some people want to take that risk.
You're overlooking major rule breakers she's done like run people out of games, arguing with mods when she doesn't get her way and rallying her friends to bad mouth people. There's pastebins as evidence to get her banned from any game. Every game has an "don't be an asshole" rule and guess what Lock is most of the time?
She doesn't play nice with others and rping is a collaborative hobby with other people. Just because there are some people willing to take that risk others shouldn't have to tolerate her. Hope that helps.
ok, really, what does justify running people out of rp? this is something that's bothered me for a while. we collectively need to start being far less tolerant of blatant assholes in this hobby, because they create all the actual problems in games. that doesn't mean no tolerance at all, but it does mean that the behaviors you listed should be enough in some cases.
we run out people like second and ken and maybe phase because of their personal lives and the things they bring to OOC interactions. murder is the only one i can think of who was run out primarily because of her behavior. most of the people who make games miserable for other players and for mods don't do the things big name wankers did, but their behavior still shouldn't be tolerated.
i don't know lock. this isn't about her. this is about losing your place at the table when you have no table manners. you can still eat, but there should be a point where you're not welcome in this restaurant because you're interfering too much with other patrons enjoying their meals.
we need to be willing to not drag mods through the mud whenever the ban hammer comes down, too. call out favoritism or conflicts of interest or whatever, but mods who get rid of toxic players should get support.

I think the reason we (as in, all roleplayers on dreamwidth) are tolerant of shitty people up to a point is because almost all of us have some shitty behaviors. I think I've met maybe a handful of people total in this hobby who are actually good people 100% of the time. The rest manage to be good people most of the time, but have their wanky moments.
So when we see people displaying low-level wankiness (things like mouthing off to the mods, or venting on plurk about something really dumb, or being pushy with shipping/threads sometimes), we don't really like kicking them out because we do those same things sometimes. Even if it's a matter of frequency (which it is, to me that's the difference between an otherwise good person having a 'wanky moment' and an actual wanker being shitty), we still see those same behaviors in ourselves, and we tend to be more lenient.
That's also why people smack certain roleplayers down right away, because they do stuff that we would never even dream of doing. Stuff like what happened with Tora and Pyra, and Second, and that boston bomber girl. We may identify with a wanker whose bad behavior is "gets mad when not selected for a plot", but when the wanker is known for child molestation, or for fetishizing an actual, living criminal? We don't identify with that, which is why it's easier for us to drive them out of roleplay.
