dropping is probably a good move for him, assuming he takes this advice to heart. in my experience, it's a lot harder to fix mistakes with ocs than fandom characters, and it would be easier to reconsider what he wants to do with jay and how he wants to play him without worrying about keeping up with a game.

Ugh.

I don't even care how he plays his character at this point, the fact that he dragged his insecurity over this one namedrop (that was frozen by the mods) across multiple plurks and to goodrperssock has seriously turned me off of ever playing with him.

I play with people who have been namedropped multiple times and I don't really care. But I sure don't want to play with someone who lets a single namedrop thread turn them into a miserable sadsack moaning about it everywhere and on the verge of dropping everything.

to be fair, this isn't a single namedrop. ryslig anons have been talking about their frustrations with jay for months, and zack has been namedropped plenty in that time.

in that same vein though Zack throws a titfit every single time he's namedropped and always pretends like it's the first time he's ever heard of people having a problem with jay

and then he promises to change, never changes, and the cycle begins anew a few months later
