In a perfect world where they didn't decide Korra was bi just because the fanbase wanted it and paired her up with literally her only option as far as girlfriends go, they would have waited until the comics to say she was bi and introduce a new character to be her girlfriend instead (or ideally have her stay single but W/E).
Now Korra is stuck with the world's most boring girlfriend. I'm pretty sure she would have better sex with a realdoll.
the plurker in questioned linked their etsy store as a means to help with their monetary bind. the store has a lot of jewelry for sale. this person asked for help by offering stuff they actually make and sell on etsy. they did mention their crisis but they aren't asking for people to just throw money at them. they even mentioned offering a sale if enough people were interested.
not sure what anon's problem is here tbh. shit happens. i'd rather have someone offering stuff they made than begging on gofundme for free money and that's what this person was doing.
I want to block you to avoid seeing how negative you are, but we're in enough plurks together that our mutual friends would notice and I'm not ready for that fallout
it was the same thing on a smaller scale. there's been a pattern of airi making people uncomfortable in game because of her pushy and guilt-tripping behavior. a number of plots got stopped in their tracks because she didn't want to deal with the ripple effects they would have on her character, regardless of whether or not kido would be directly involved.
When I was in college I took a psych course during which we were shown footage of a guy with schizophrenia trying to describe what he did the week before.
as much as this was the epic will they/won't they/oh no brainwash that some people love, it's really nuriko's story that made me ragequit. i don't expect sensitivity about legit trans or gay issues from japan but everything about the way nuriko's story progressed definitely felt bad to me and i can't really explain why. the motivation and what he wanted to be was there, but when it happened it just felt like they were stereotyping less masculine gay men with vagina-envy and that he couldn't be who he was as he was?
yeah, definitely. imo idling out's a totally different animal than dropping, though. especially when it comes at the ass end of a cycle of hiatus/strike/barely scrape by ac.
