fair enough. i'll probably never get why they're considered just as bad, but that's just me, probably.
not that rose/10 was the best.ship.evar! (it wasn't), but because river/11 was so bad and so filled with physical violence and emotional abuse that i can't quite see them as comparable. only amy and rory comes close in my mind in the "holy shit you two need to get far away from each other" stakes.
rose and ten being sticky sweet and a bit up their own asses just doesn't compare for me. especially when the narrative punished them for their arrogance, while the narrative moffat wrote rewarded 11 and river for their abusiveness and just general creepiness.
tl;dr - it's not that i love 10/rose that much, but that i hate 11/river that much. don't mind me.
