one of my rp partners uses "per say" or sometimes even "persay" and I don't know how to correct them without looking like a pretentious fuck

I used to use 'per se' in conversations as much as I could because someone on my flist used 'per say'. Didn't work. Plurked about 'per say' not being a thing and stop making it into a thing. Still didn't work. Ugh. Anyway, I don't have to get irked now because I've already unfollwed them (for being an asshat, not for using per say, that is).
