tumblr SJWs tend to overlook intersectionality in general and prefer to play oppression olympics, but even then, this is mostly about an anon not realizing that a) not all forms of oppression are meant to be analogs of racism and b) even if people DO play with those kind of concepts, it's not being "tone deaf" it's just making use of dark themes to inform a story.

the audience cares about the struggle of the oppressed because they understand it. people playing in tanagura care about the plot of the game because the setting helps inform their understanding of it by using that analog. there's nothing "tone deaf" about it.
