Another part of it is that science is finding vitamin D deficiencies may be a cause for depression, especially seasonal depression. Exposure to sun causes the body to produce vitamin D, so that's another way going outside can help.

Idk, same reason I watched looney tunes when I thought it was boring or scary? Animation is animation, especially the younger a kid is. I really feel they are making their money off tumblr teens and ya mostly and they're intentionally doing what they can to cater to then, but at the heart is the same as adventure time, regular show, and all the others. Are you going to tell me ren and stimpy wasn't for kids because of gross, adult humor? It's also worth mentioning that they all cater to young parents and all ages more and more, who are likely watching it with them. Sailor moon was geared at preteen girls and you guys remember some of the shit that was even in the dub.

Speaking of the latter, again it goes to show how many references aren't aimed at kids but if you tell me it's an adult cartoon I'll have to roll my eyes. If its not on at odd hours? It's Alba, aka the reason no one wants to play from Silent Hill(from doing this) and a huge wanker in the Transformers community, both on and off DW. I feel like it just comes with the territory of shone into giant robots on DW. Alba was in pretty much every big wanky horror game or Transformers cast. I think they hid in TF2 and comics for a while since both are pretty notorious for making any excuse for OOC yaois as a whole fandom. You can find wack about Alba as far back as Disco and they honestly haven't changed. You'll notice ongoing complaints for years, but it's mostly being OOC, melodramatic, annoying, then flouncing so Alba typically is under the radar.

It doesn't actually shove these things in your faces and definitely not all the time, so you've probably read too many songs and praises that you're already disliking it on principle. Such are the evils of overhype. If you really want to get it, then it's best to just in and try tbh.
