re: 2, marty clearly isn't rich. everything he has, from the fancy bus he shows up on to his green clothes, are the result of his deal with the soda company. he even gets upset when things start going south because if he isn't moving the product, he'll lose the gig. he has absolutely nothing of his own.

greg, on the other hand, is super rich and also the nicest person in the world. also onion is more amoral than evil. like an elder god. he's on a different level.

That was one of the best lines, just Greg saying "who cares, I'm rich".
