the game rules say "Each canon must be seven days or older to be appable or used for canon update." so they aren't doing anything wrong. you can go and ask for spoiler warnings, since that's on the rules too, but that's about it.

i dont think the issue is them playing from a canon point or character that's spoilery. the issue seems to be that they're just casually spoiling things without any concern about it, which even if it's not against the rules, is a shitty thing to do

Literally all you have to do is talk to Exxie for two seconds and say "Hey, I don't want F/GO spoilers!" which I would assume more people would be doing if they were really that invested in the convoluted storyline of a phone game.
anon, if someone doesn't *know* there's a major spoiler associated with the character, how are they going to know to ask in advance to not use them?
