it's 2018, and i'm still not over all the executive meddling that took place, because some of the creators got mad that so many people liked zutara vs kataang.

i feel like the best approach really would be just to trim the shipping out. at least that way, they can't fuck it up.

most people who liked zutara only did because of that one s1 episode where 16yo zuko tied up 14yo katara and yall thought it was hot and romantic and zuko was a ~bad boy~ who needed katara to heal him. yall basically early reylo shippers with the same level of delusion that it isn't sketchy and isn't oc, because both zuko and kylo are actually huge fucking dorks

kataang fucking sucked too because there was no chemistry?? 12yo boy has crush. that's it. it felt very forced and unnecessary, same as all the romance in tlk. stop trying to write romance, bryke.

I didn't ship anything in ATLA and I still thought kataang was godawful. Predictable, but godawful.

What 12 year old boy needs a girl as a prize. Katara deserved better than being a narrative prize to boot.
