I always felt one of Nysa's big problems was the mods trying to do too much right from the start. Sci fi elements, fantasy elements, faction war, neutral factions, quests, smut, build your own adventure and sol options, lots of active npcs, all the unique locations, etc etc etc. That's a recipe for disaster even in a capped game.

Pick a few things you want to do with your game and do them well. Trying to juggle a bunch of plot lines and npcs and quests and accommodate so many different interests will burn anybody out.
