??? mods fucked off to go play in a murdergame, lied about it, and slacked off on all their actual modwork the whole time. idk why you still feel the need to whiteknight but no one's buying it anymore. they willfully gave a middle finger to their playerbase and everyone knows it. if the game dies it's on them.
the only person who outright lied about the murdergame, and told others to do the same, was dana, who was never a mod at recolle. the mods were upfront about playing in the murdergame. they also never fell behind on mod work, at least not significantly. there were no app cycles during that period, so that probably cut a lot of it, but network and event posts went up on time as usual, AC was done on time, regain requests were done within the usual timeframe, etc etc.
now the event over the summer was kind of. not that fun, sure, and we bled a lot of players in that time period, but a lot of games shrink and slow down after they've been open for over a year. i don't think that really falls on the mods' shoulders.
i'd also argue the game isn't dying, at least not yet. people are still playing, posts are being actively tagged, and hey we're actually getting regular posts on both comms outside of mod-posted event posts again, so there's that. i do think it's a little concerning that the last three rapid fire app cycles haven't produced a lot, but these also happened around the time a big new shiny had opened (i'm not blaming duplicity specifically here, but that is what tends to happen in DWRP).
but even then, the mods haven't at all fallen behind on the modwork. everything is going up on time, ac is getting done, lists are handled on time, so on and so forth.
idk anon, it does sound like you're really personally mad about the fact that the mods opted to play in a murdergame over the summer, and i don't really blame you for it, but you're letting that anger lead you to a lot of conclusions that aren't really true.
>"the mods abandoned this game!" >"all of the modwork is being done on time, though" >"WHITEKNIGHT"
no, anon, it's not whiteknighting to point out you're factually incorrect. i can't argue if the mods care about recolle anymore, they don't really seem engaged by it, but they haven't abandoned the game and shit's still getting done, and in prompt fashion. not really sure what your aim is here.
