bruh i went to a community college too and i did not see or hang out with my professors outside of class

the only contact i ever had with them was in the classroom

flaterviewer who doesn’t go here, but i went to community college, and professors hanging out with students is common where i went to.

there were professors who are way more stricter about it too so it’s more likely to be a case by case thing.

da, +1 also you tend to get more relaxed professors in more relaxed fields.

the professors in my mainline arts courses, which jj's was given it was an architecture class, were way more willing to hang out, particularly if it was in a mentoring role, like jj's was.
