nobody had even mentioned noct at the point megan logged in asking for pastebins so either she posted the original vague and knew who it was about or she just really wanted an excuse to go to the mods

sure does. the blocking player seems weird and obtuse, but knowing this the homestucks just look like oversensitive babies making a huge mountain out of a molehill. it's obvious to anyone with half a brain cell that an idiom used in frustration isn't actually a violent threat, and i'm pretty sure the dave/geralt player has half a brain cell, so they were intending to scream in the mods' ears in bad faith about someone being ~violent~
