because they want to play up the trauma without having to justify it, anon. it's pretty obvious. why do people do rape or child abuse headcanons? because they think it's fun to play out the trauma. personally idc if someone does something like this as long as they warn for it and have an opt out.

It's not about not interpreting L as asexual, it's about them coming up with this bizarre and convoluted left field theory and arguing that their wacko fetishizing eunuch L headcanon is just as likely as being asexual, and the way they worded it that kind of seems to imply that clearly there MUST be some deeper reason behind him being disinterested in sex. L player was clearly in the wrong here. Qrow player was more civil than I would have been and I'm not even asexual.

Less of a peeve than a bafflement, but why do people top leveling on image prompt memes feel the need to say "link images, please"? I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone post images inline

i went through the hassle of finding an older post for you to enjoy. this is why it started to become the norm, and even in memes like hot or not or rate that ass, some people still post img src and not a href.

it became norm for (link please) in smut memes because of surprise porn and people being mad about it in places where kids/work could see it, which sparked arguments of 'why are you opening a porn meme around kids/work' and so on and so on. but the hassle of avoiding it just made it more standard to ask to link the images, which avoided surprise porn. people still post without links, but they're less likely to do it in a smut meme and won't if you ask not to.

I also see it as forcing a bizarre headcanon on anyone else who might be in the cast. I know not many people play Death Note anymore, but if there was someone playing anyone else from that house or God forbid, Watari, they'd have to agree with that headcanon.
