yaoi is for 14 year old japanese girls either you get on board with that or cry americanly into your frito pie. either way, shrieking at someone who isnt a mangaka for their little meow meows accomplishes nothing except making you look lost.

you've only just noticed? friday through sunday is always a write off. i suspect some bored troll doesn't have anything better to do or maybe some anons have a drinking problem that comes out when they're not working (i moderated a forum once with this exact issue, every weekend like clockwork we'd get some drunk posters making fools of themselves)

'total' implies the IQs are in some sense contiguous, which aggregate does not necessarily. easy does it, borg queen.

harley quinn can be a great and fun character but holy shit i hate the harley quinn stereotype and the insipid copycats it inspires.

idk why but i thought of tera from teen titans recently and i'm remembering how much i hated her character. this is like, very specific so idk if it's enough to be a whole trope but like the character that exists just to wring drama out of a team dynamic and is struck with ~insecurity~ but only when it conveniently serves the plot. like it's the kind of character that doesn't seem to have any of their own agency even out of their own "growth" arc. every mistake they make is manufactured and dramatized for no reason. every success is WHOA JUST A RUSE! SO THEY COULD SUFFER MORE! and when it's time for the bad guy to lose SUDDENLY THEY BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES AND TRUST THEIR OLD FRIENDS AND WHOA THEY'RE SO POWERFUL and it all just works out!!

"i can't control my powers, you have to keep it a secret!" she says to another character, and then another character, who can obviously tell she can't control her powers (and offers to help!), mentions that. then she freaks out and screams "i trusted you, you lied to me you said you'd keep it a secret!!!" and storms, off, screaming. it's grating. i hate it.

bro stop thinking everything is about anti discourse. people can just not like when a character comes off as abusive but is written to just be a "cute uwu tsundere". disliking rapey characters =/= thinking the mun is a bad person irl.

because you're annoying coming into this thread saying you like it so much teehee. why do yaoi fangirls always do this.

it's only ever dudes people want this with lmao. i would kill more fujo stuff that doesn't have the token yandere guy or a rapist guy, unless they're a villain who gets killed. if they're part of the cast and it's treated as a quirk then no way.

when people hate women that much it's always gotta be about a guy.

Thank you for explaining this. I haven't seen it on twitter or anywhere else online but a couple of people on my plurk feed have become obsessed with the word and I had no idea what they've been going on about.

Re: PLURK PET PEEVES

(Anonymous) 2022-02-25 09:37 pm (UTC)(link)
this is a ridiculous statement. everyone knows that if people were referring to a woman, she would be called "blorba." and if a character was neither, they would be referred to as "blorbe." this isn't that hard.

they don't get pushback because people like you eat it up.

meanwhile if a girl is a little bitchy everyone brings out the pitchforks.

But the way I most often see it now is stuff like, “it’s blorbo, my little scrunkly” which isn’t any different from “precious cinnamon roll.”

yeah, it's not the experience of surgery that i'm worried about so much as like...you really cannot bind an i cup effectively, or if you can i haven't found the binder that does it, so i have no way to test an unboobified body? and i don't know if just getting a reduction is a good idea for the sole purpose of "bring me down to bindable size so i can then decide if i want them off completely." like it seems if i'm gonna undergo major chest surgery i should be sure of which kind of surgery i want first instead of having to have it twice, lol.

it would probably be easier if i was a binary trans man, because then the answer would presumably be pretty clear, but alas, i am but an enby who's just sort of moving more mascward the older i get. and truly has NO idea how the world is going to react to me in a body without boobs.

+1 people have claimed the words unironically

it can be self-depreciative and unironic and annoying all at the same time

Re: ayrt

as someone that sees them as sort of 'not really a part of me because they're 'the boobs'', i'd advise getting a reduction and not a complete mastectomy. because of your situation and the nb ness of it and binding, and just the size and all that, it's less of a blow/adjustment to go from an i (i'm the h anon) to something like a d. they're still there/large, but they'd be bindable then (though i'd suggest asking for a c since that's where i think i'd be more comfortable than where i'm currently at). you'd still have boobs, still have to bind them, but they wouldn't be this 'presence' in your life that i find large breasts tend to be. it might make it easier for you to handle having them if they just aren't so much. and there's nothing saying you can't get a secondary operation after, but it's easier to take off more later than regret having so much gone.

know-it-all types that actually do know it all and never get any kind of comeuppance. it's been a while but like ozymandias from watchmen or cable (cable & deadpool got so much better once cable was gone). they're self-important and boring assholes. they suck

any character the narrative constantly rewards no matter how shitty they are, actually (i feel like daisy got this a lot in aos), but the omniscient types turn me off like nothing else

Re: character tropes you can't stand

Honestly I prefer Cable to dealing with unfunny shit like Deadpool. I find the character and fans to be so insufferable.

fair, different corners of the internet i suppose, that hasn't been my experience at all, and i would definitely be annoyed if it were

my patience is thin for "poor little meow meow," myself. can really hit the funny bone hard if it utilizes its full potential for cognitive dissonance when used to describe a truly loathsome character, but nine times out of ten i'm just like ugh stop

that's (theoretically) part of the humor behind it. it's a nonsense word because when someone is rambling away about their favorite hyperfixation character, it all sounds like nonsense anyway for someone unfamiliar with the canon

it also arose around the same time tumblr banned a bunch of very normal tag words for the iOS app, so people started joking about having to get around it by coming up with gibberish words to communicate and that conversations would eventually sound like a sims game
