I have characters that come from a literal fighting game, it's what they do. Others are soldiers and fight or spar for training.

Any situation can be interesting if the writers and characters are invested in it. There is banter and styles and moves.

Down thread, someone said this is amab stuff, but I'm cis female afab and I enjoy it so maybe I'm the only one in the world. I don't know.

This is what separates you from the boring amab style of writing fights, I've never seen one of them try at all. You're not what they're talking about.
